Washdown changes the specification
In a food plant the cabinet is hosed down, not just rained on. That rules out painted mild steel and pushes the housing to 304 or 316 stainless with a sealed compressor compartment.
Marine air
Salt-laden air attacks coil fins first. We specify epoxy-coated coils and, for deck-level installations, a 316 housing rather than 304.
Hygiene
Drain paths are routed so condensate cannot pool in the cabinet, and the filter is removable without tools for daily cleaning.
