Why BESS cooling is different
Battery containers are unattended, remote and thermally dense. A cooling failure is not an inconvenience — it is a derating event that shows up in the asset owner's revenue report.
Our approach
The CTACC12535WEP uses EC fans with a wide speed range so airflow stays stable as the condenser loads with dust. Alarms latch until acknowledged, and Modbus exposes supply/return temperature, compressor state and filter status.
Design points
- Redundant units at 50% load each, rather than one unit at 100%
- Filter-differential alarm instead of a fixed service interval
- Low-GWP refrigerant where the project requires it
